This collection of poems and short prose pieces showcases the talents of the Montague Library Writers Guild members. They have focused their talents on accounts of life on Prince Edward Island, Canada ranging from a description of cluster flies, to an account of a 5-year-old making the rounds of his community over 50 years ago. There are poems about the shore, fishing, and a youth hockey match. A piece describes why someone should choose to live on PEI while a poem describes the exhiliration of a February day.

Prince Edward Island Tales A wonderful book of tales from Prince Edward Island

I have received my personal copy and I am presently reading through this fabulous little book. The cover immediately draws you in with it's typical Island scene. The introduction is brief and to the point. Then you become captivated by the variation of style in the writers from their introductions to the stories and poems that they write.

The book is well balanced with the variety that is life on Prince Edward Island. Be warned that many readers have related that they have read from cover to cover before putting the book down.

The bottom line here is that if you love Prince Edward Island then you will love this book. Be sure to get your copy today and one for your Prince Edward Island loving friends. They will thank you for it.
