It's a good book Aug. 25 2014

It's a good book for beginners, but I prefer to reading alfresco 3 cookbook before reading this book, then you can understand what's going on in this book. I focused in this book on web scripting, I didn't focused on content model cause I did read about that from alfresco 3 cookbook, there is some examples about that but I didn't read it yet. Then I went direct to web scripting cause I need more reading about that. The good things about this book is that it has many examples, but I would love if the writer tried to put more photos on each examples like what alfresco 3 cookbook writer did. The book is good anyhow it's a straight forward tutorial and you just need to use the alfresco installer to get familiar with the content.I Just install alfresco from the installer and start learning. But I mainly recommend to buy alfresco 3 cookbook before reading this book if you fresh learner.

This book is a good reference for Alfresco 3.X programmer. Not ideal, though - I expected more on CMIS topic (Alfresco is one of the major contributors in CMIS field). But web scripts are covered very well.
