The first thing you do at the book is make a 100% HTML5,JS no external libraries games it really set the hands on feeling that the book have.
Everything is pretty explained and there are several techniques and ways to make a game that you will learn.CSS3,SVG,Canvas etc.
The javascript is great and i learned several new things that don't apply just for games but js skills in general.
