I bought this book for my nursing seminar class and I must say, I really like it!I really appreciate the anecdotes and various case studies that helps the nursing prospective
student get the big picture about a certain concept in the clinical setting.
This book is a good book for understanding what nursing is all about.

I want to say first, contact your instructor before classes start to make sure that you are going to be using the textbook.I orderd most of mine online and I used the heck out of this one. The class syllabus stated the assignments were all over the place. The material on the tests, assignment, and papers were all from the book and from doing research.
I definately got my money's worth but now I no longer need it.
