About the Author

Patrick Fanning is a professional writer in the mental health field. the founder of a men's support group in northern California. He has authored and coauthored of eight self-help books, including <B>Self-Esteem, Thoughts and Feelings, Couple Skills</B>, and <B>When Anger Hurts Your Kids</B> . <p>Matthew McKay, PhD<p>is a professor at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. He has authored and coauthored numerous books, including <B>The Relaxation and Stress Reduction Workbook, Self-Esteem, Thoughts and Feelings, When Anger Hurts</B>, and <B>ACT on Life Not on Anger</B> . His books combined have sold more than 2.5 million copies. McKay received his PhD in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. In private practice, he specializes in the cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety and depression. </p>

This tape teaches you how to focus and bring about a state of relaxation through verbal instruction combined with calming music.You will trully feel ready for sleep.

Since buying this audio tape, I listen to it frequently. I usually fall asleep before it is over, because either the progressive relaxation or the breathing works so fast to calm my body and mind. The production quality is excellent too. I would give it 10 stars if that were an option.

very boring, i have a few of meditation cds and none of them are as boring and redundant as this one
