Product Description

Book Description

Who will be the next seventh grade class president at Abigail Adams Junior High? Mr. Popular, Dillon Johnson, is running, and making a lot of promises that are sure to get votes. The Yurtmeister's in the race, too, but his campaign is a joke, right?

Class president seems like a good place for Avery to start her political career. The trouble is, Katani's in the race, too. Can the Beacon Street Girls survive the growing tension between these two supercompetitive friends? And who's tearing down campaign posters and leaving mean notes about the candidates?

About the Author

The Beacon Street Girls books are inspired by all the preteen girls I've ever known. I wanted to create a world where girls can go to have fun and learn about who they are, while modeling real-life experiences. The first book, Worst Enemies/Best Friends, explores creating and testing friendships, skewed first impressions, and being the new kid at school. In the end, true friendship conquers all. Welcome to the world of the BSG!

4.0 out of 5 stars Beacon Street Girls, Oct 12 2009

As I recall this story is about two club members
who are both running for class president. Someone
tries to ruin the whole election. BSG Katani and Avery
are in a race to win and almost become enemies. There are
others running too. Rivalry can cause problems, but in the
end the girls learn a lesson. Enjoyable.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best BSG books!, Sep 12 2005
By Livey Marsh "Starr" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Promises, Promises (Paperback)
I love all the BSG books. I read this one in 2 days. I liked this and Out of Boumds the best. Lake Rescue should be good. Anyway, the book is about the class elections. It is very intreaging! It was intense. I couln't wait to see who would win or who was the person taking posters down. It's easiest to read the books in order, that's how I did it, but if you don't, they fill you in. I think the book has excellent writing and content. The BSG books are my all-time faves. I can't wait one more day until the 6th book comes out. Also, this is a great value!

3.0 out of 5 stars not bad, Sep 4 2011
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
This book definetly shows how tight the Beacon Street Girls really are. Katani and Avery fighthing throughtout the book gave it some action. I feel Isabel definetly was stuck in the middle. I like the 3rd and 4h BSG better but i still liked this one.
