3.0 out of 5 stars Poorly edited, July 15 2004
By A Customer
This book needs more editing than any other book I have ever read. Poor editorial quality seems to be a hallmark of books published by Lippincott. (Mosby is pretty bad too. Saunders is much better.)

On the other hand, the content of this book is interesting, well-organized, and generally easy to understand. I liked the illustrations and layout, as well as the references at the end of each chapter.

In sum, I think the author did a good job, but was let down by her publisher.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best mental health nursing textbook, Jan 23 2004
By A Customer
This textbook makes mental health nursing comprehensive and fun to learn. The concepts are well defined and there are lots of practice situations. It is easy to read and not too dry and boring. The CD was excellent for reviewing and studying and I would recommend this as a main textbook for mental health nursing.
