I bought this collection for our church organist after hearing an interesting setting of a old gospel hymn in another church - the organist showed me the book that was his source. The setting made this old trite warhorse new interesting and inspiriational.Ive since enjoyed a number of new settings and harmonies to hymns - the book is usable both for prelude/postlude material and also for accompanying congregational singing.

The level of difficulty seems manageable for an organist of normal competence.

Highly recommended if you are looking to spice up a traditional church music program a bit.
