5.0 out of 5 stars Great Soundtrack, May 1 2004
By
John (United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Punisher (Audio CD)
One of the best CDs I have purchased. Song by song:

1. Drowning Pool: Step Up- Pretty cool song, even though I
don't like their ways. Gets
you pumped up.
2. Puddle of Mudd: Bleed- Cruddy band, don't listen to this
absolute Nirvana wanna-be CRAP!
3. Nickelback: Slow Motion- Very good song.
4. Queens of the Stone Age: Never Say Never- Crap. Horrible
lyrics! Hehe.

5.Seether feat. Amy Lee: Broken- Better than original version.
(...). (...)
(...).
6. Smile Empty Soul: Finding Myself- Very good. Well-produced.
7. Trapt: Lost in a Portrait- Good song. Would have been very
good, if it had been a little bit
shorter.
8. Chevelle: Still Running- This song is beyond. This is
one of the coolest songs ever.
The best song on this soundtrack
of course. Turn your CD Player up
for this one! AWESOME!
9. Damageplan feat. Jerry Cantrell: Ashes to Ashes- Sort of
Boring. Not bad or good, just decent...
10. Seether: Sold Me- Very cool song... although maybe Amy Lee
should have helped them on this one too.=)
11. Edgewater: Eyes Wired Shut- Great song. Maybe one of the most
well-produced songs ever.
12. Finger Eleven: Slow Chemical- I thought that since this
is Kane's song, it was going to be cruddy...
but turns out to be a good song, although
only after the first verses...
13. BM feat. JM & J"G"J: The End Has Come: Decent.
Bad producing?
14. Strata: Piece by Piece- Strata is my fav. band. Listen to
them! This isn't their best
song by far, but still good.
15. Hatebreed: Bound to Violence- Pretty good music. I don't
like their 'violent' ways, but
you may.
16. Seven Wiser: Sick- Same with BM JM JGJ, cept more on the
suckier side.
17. Submerged: Complicated- Good song. Doesn't try to be too
much.

18. Atomship: Time for People- Decent listen. But the same
goes with it as with PoM & HB,
I dislike their ways.
19. Mark Collie: In Time- Wow, after hearing all this rock, we
come to this. Decent listen, but I
don't like the mood.

Get this soundtrack. I did this review because I didn't want you
to be turned away by all those reviews puting it as decent. Get it.
Also, if you liked Strata, go to Stratadirect.com. They have around 20 studio produced songs so far. Listen to "the panic" first. Their "the panic" music video is coming I think late May and their first 'major' album will be released July 13th.
=)

4.0 out of 5 stars A good soundtrack., July 17 2004
This review is from: The Punisher (Audio CD)
I personally really liked the CD. And I had heard of almost every band on the soundtrack prior to it. Of course my personal favorite is Seether & Amy Lee. And your right, although its great, it is no way better than Seether's original version. Other two favorites are Drowning Pool & Smile Empty Soul. I would highly recommend the CD to someone who likes rock music.
