VERY funny show. It also doesn't hurt that Anna Friel is very beautiful.
Audio/video quality is great. Closed captioning is available. Season 1 has 9 episodes and season 2 has 13.

Pushing Daisies is an incredible show that was cancelled far too soon in it's run.
I have just read confirmation that season two of Pushing Daisies will be released on July 21st, 2009. It will be the complete season and will include the last three episodes that have never been aired.

The visuals, although sometimes dated, are colorful and will make you long to live in such a beautiful place. The wordsmithing that went into making every scene into a mine of interesting turns of phrases and clever wordplay you'll wish to find an occasion to use in your daily life.
For the price difference, and considering the age of the series, we skipped the bluray on this one, and we've not regretted it. The DVDs themselves are designed as different pies, which is interesting as the physical discs are seldom interesting in themselves.
You're not getting this for it's physical presence though, but for the wonderful time you'll have watching it again and again.

Scratched discs that skipped
