    4.0 out of 5 stars Good ipod/cd player/clock radio. Dec 26 2011

There are not many options in getting a clock radio that can play both from an ipod as well as cd - especially if you also want said item to also serve as an alarm clock. I spent hours researching and never found anything that seemed to be a good solution. There were no reviews for this item when I bought it so I went ahead and took the gamble. I'm glad I did. The sound is very good considering its small size and relatively inexpensive cost. FM radio reception is decent. CD playback is faultless. The ipod dock is adjustable to make sure that your ipod will fit into it securely. As an added plus it is compatible with a wide variety of ipods so as long as you are not dealing with anything too ancient it should work. (Item description does say which ipod it will work with.)

The only downside to this item is that the radio only receives FM. So... if you are a big AM listener then this radio may not be the best one for you.

For the price it is a very good value. Yes, a Bose will give you richer sound, but it will also set you back hundreds of dollars more and may be lacking in other useful features.

4.0 out of 5 stars So far, so good. Dec 30 2011
By NiFO - Published on Amazon.com
I was in need for a small speaker system that was iPod/iPhone compatible but could also play CDs for my daughter's nursery. I wanted something small and simple and not extremely expensive considering it might one day take a beating (when she's older and operating it on her own). For now, it's set up to play her children's CDs and some things on an old iPod. I'm happy with the size and the sound works out great for her small bedroom. I like that it has a small clock on it for when I'm in her room at night and want to know the time. I do feel that the product is pretty lightweight, and therefore, I'm concerned about how long it'll hold up with regular use. I'd say as long as we get a few years use out of it without any major problems, I'll be happy. We'll see how it goes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Basic All Purpose Audio System Jan 16 2012
By Mom Stub - Published on Amazon.com
I use this audio system to play CDs and an iPod for my young boys. I like the fact that it is one piece of equipment that has a clock, alarm, radio, CD player, and an iPod player. The sound on it seems to be good for what we need, but I have seen other iPod players that have much better (louder and clearer) sound and seem more durable. I think this will work for what I need it for though, and I won't worry too much if my boys break something on it since it wasn't that expensive of an investment. For an all-in-one audio system, I think it does the job.
