This heart rate monitor and watch is the perfect addition to your training program. Now you can monitor your heart rate as you run, jog, or doing any cardiovascular exercise. This watch also includes a chronograph, daily alarm, heart rate statistics, and a countdown timer. The PHRM30 also has target training modes to help you stay fit and strong. Don't exercise without Pyle Sports!
The PHRM30 allows you to monitor your heart rate while performing any cardiovascular activity. Wrap the included heart rate monitor belt around your chest before exercising. Then, enter the heart rate monitor mode on the watch. During your exercise session, you can keep track of your current, minimum, maximum, and average heart rates — all at the touch of a button. You can also track your current and average speed.
You can use knowledge of your heart rate to determine what kind of exercise you're doing. First, you need to know your maximum heart rate, which is calculated based on your age. At 60-70% of this maximum, you are training for endurance and aerobic capacity. Your cardiovascular system develops at 70-80%. The PHRM30 is conveniently equipped with multiple training modes to help you reach these levels and notify with an alarm you when you have.
Your watch generates a wealth of data from your workouts. You can view your total calories, average heart rate, and total exercise time, all at the touch of a button.
Of course, the PHRM30 is equipped with all the features you've come to expect from great sports watches, including time & date functions and a daily alarm. There's also a chronograph with 40 memory records and a countdown timer. The LED backlight allows you to use the PHRM30 in low-light conditions or at night. The PHRM30 is also water resistant to 33 feet / 10 meters / 1 ATM.

A Perfect Balance Every Day,
By Canucklehead (Ottawa, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pyle PHRM30 Advance Heart Rate Watch GPS (Electronics)
I admit I was a bit skeptical of this purchase, but the huge price difference between this and a Polar HRM (combined with the $27.41 sale price) made me take a leap. Pyle makes good audio equipment, so how bad could it be?I'm completely satisfied. When I started adding hard, daily exercise to my calorie counting regimen, it became less clear what my net calories were. I had stopped losing weight because I was exercising too much for the amount I was eating. Having this monitor makes it possible for me to exercise just the right amount every day. Using the calorie counting function, I exercise until my eaten calories are reduced down to my net target (e.g. 2000 calories eaten - 500 calories burned through exercise = 1500 net calories). And the weight is coming off again. Read the manual. Understand the modes. Enter your vital stats (height, weight, age, gender... I skipped the VO2max and used the default). Wet the two rubber sensors on the strap before each use. Then, get going and watch the calories burn away.

It took a little while for me to receive the shipment but I think the postal service was just slow as I received a confirmation e-mail from Quality Car Audio the next day saying that they shipped it. For $55 (after shipping and taxes) it's a really good value as I've seen Heart Rate monitors go for way more. It takes a bit of practice to get used to playing around with the buttons and learning how to customize the settings but after about an hour of reading the instructions I kind of got the hang of it. I do wish there was a separate button to light up the watch so that I could actually read it at night, it does light up but I think you have to hit the 'stop' button so I can only read it after I've stopped exercising. Maybe there is a way to light it up without stopping the exercise and I just haven't figured it out yet as I've only used it a couple times since I've gotten it.
