5.0 out of 5 stars So Many New and Different Salads. April 8 2012

This book gives you what is promised Quick and Delicious Salads. I especially like the shrimp and artichoke salad. What a wonderful lunch it made. My daughter and I both loved it when she came for lunch. The directions were very easy to follow. The salad dressing was excellent.

I really like the comments about each of the recipes and the hints about a variation in the salad. With these hints you really have twice as many recipes.

The sweet spinach salad will be served at my next dinner party.

The nutrition tips are great. I really like the weight watchers points at the bottom. Is that not a wonderful addition for the folks who do ww?

Buy this book and enjoy the wonderful new and different salads here.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice selection in this book April 4 2012

I love salads, so of course I had to get this book. It really is filled with fabulous salad recipes, in a nice, eye-pleasing format. Not only easy to read, but the recipes are easy to follow. There's a lot of crunch in most of these salads, which I prefer. I do prefer my recipes in some sort of categories or alphabetical order and that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love Salads April 8 2012

Nice selection of Salads; the "Ham and Cheese Salad" caught my eye first, but "Cooking" a salad is new to my very limited kitchen ability. But Nicole goes one better: with a complete "How To" section for each recipe so you cannot go wrong.

I like the "Nutrition Facts" on the recipes, what seems benign can bite you if you do not check the nutrition facts. Like millions of readers, I have Type II diabetes and to control it you have to be very careful about what you eat, so thanks for all the facts.

If there is any down side it would be that the reader will be spending more time in the fruits and vegetables section in the super market. But that is O.K. Thanks Nicole for the book.

A Medical reality for the epidemic of obese people can be found at Understanding Diabetes Type 2: Recipes & Exercise Plans for the Newly Diagnosed (Physician Support Guides). If you know someone that may be diabetic this may save their life.
