3.0 out of 5 stars good contemplative music Jun 21 2003
By Mark
Format:Audio CD
Although the sounds on this cd are a bit dated, it is still a good cd for contemplation or to listn to as you fall asleep.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mind expanding Feb 20 2002
Format:Audio CD
Ambient music is amazing, no matter what you are doing, it totally stops the flow of time in the mind's eye. You could sit all the way through this amazing collection and not even realize you've been sitting there for about 3 hours. The music is transportational, it takes you to your own, tranquil, quiet place. It's different for every person, and many times different on every listen. The only reason it gets 4 stars is one track features waterfall noises in the background, which I find very corny and new-agey, and it defeats the purpose of trying to find your own quiet place. But that aside, the album is brillient, if you ever wanted to get into ambient, this is a great place to start.
