I've been quilting for almost a year and a half and haven't even sewn AT ALL for 45 years. This is an easy to follow book and, I believe, excellent for the beginning quilter. Very detailed and informative. Thank you for this wonderful book! I absolutely love it.

I usually don't prefer to use templates, but the ones in this book inspired me to stretch a bit and give them another chance. I really wanted to make these blocks, so I decided to get over myself and just do it. I'm very pleased with my results, especially Christ is Born, Harp, and Many Mansions. Thanks, Lisa!

With 24 biblical blocks, you can create a wall hanging or even a quilt. They are created by the paper piecing technique. Not familiar with this creating this type of quilt block? Then all you need do is read four-page overview and you will be all set to start.
With blocks like the Manger, Crown of Thorns, The Cross, David and Goliath, The Harp and Bethlehem Star, to name a few, you can create a whole quilt from one block type or tell you own story with several. Use all 24 and you will have your own creation of their sampler quilt
Each block comes with a biblical quote and photo of the finished block, along with the size. A cutting list is included which also gives the fabric needed. There are lots of detailed graphics in the instruction section of the pattern. Templates are included and notes and tips are set off in a colored box throughout the book.
A one-page quilt gallery and a bio about the author complete this book. So grab a copy and get started on your own biblical design.
