Not only was the stroller a rip-off, but there was NO support from the company. I tried many times to reach them but they have no customer service at all that I could find.
Run, don't walk, to another company. Here's the request I wrote to Quinny but there was never any response:
"We got the Quinny Buzz 3-wheeler for our son in September 2008. We got good use out of it (although he no longer fit in it by age 1). But now we are trying to use it with our second son and are having a world of trouble. I need your help.
The front wheel doesn't turn very well anymore. It sticks. It gets stuck sideways on smooth floors. Other times when trying to turn it gets stuck and causes the stroller to lurch madly to the side, sometimes almost tipping the whole thing. It seems to me to be a terribly flawed design, but I don't remember it being so hard to use when we first got it.
I'm trying to clean the front wheel, but can't get the wheel open. I found a video online (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUY6QO4w54Q) but it shows the bottom of the front wheel having a button that can be pushed with pliers. Ours does not. It just has a flat round metal plate with a tiny hole in the middle.
Is there any way to get this open to clean it?
Second, the stroller does not unfold easily any more. I was only able to open it the last time by pulling really hard until there were two loud clicks. I'm afraid that if I pull any harder I will snap the whole stroller apart.Read more ›
