I bought this book based on the rave reviews but I must say I was a bit disappointed with it. I use quinoa all the time and have been using it for many years. I was hoping to find a book that would have interesting new recipes using quinoa- as the star ingredient. Most of the recipes in this book only use 1/4 cup of quinoa, (some even just a few tablespoons) and many use quinoa flour. Although I appreciate ideas for using quinoa flour, I would prefer more recipes using quinoa in its natural state. When I cook with quinoa it is often because I want a gluten free/vegetarian dish that is high in protein. A lot of these recipes don't call for enough quinoa to make a dish that is a substantial substitute for protein so when I look through the book for dinner ideas, there are not as many options as I would expect from a 170+recipe book on quinoa.
Maybe better suited for someone just wanted to incorporate some quinoa into their cooking.

Recipies you can use Everyday of the week--breakfast, lunch and dinner!,

This is THE cookbook I use most now. I have tried so many recipies in this book and they are all delicious and mostly very quick and easy to prepare. I've even tried a few of the baking recipies -- the carrot cake is so awesome -- I served it to guests at a birthday party and everyone loved it!
I liked the book so much, I purchased another one for a friend who has to eat gluten-free. There are lots of gluten-free recipies in this book. She gave it the thumbs up as well. The only negative comment I have is that the recipies don't state nutritional information at the end. I like to see how many calories, protien, fibre, etc. a recipe has per serving so I know exactly what I'm eating.

What a fantastic cookbook! I never once thought about using Quinoa in homemade baby food. What a great idea. I have tried a few recipes from the cookbook = DELISH! I love how the authors educate people on the nutritional value of Quinoa. Their Quinoa 365 website is great too.
I am amazed at how many people have not heard of Quinoa. If you know anyone who is a vegetarian, you should definitely buy this book for them!
