"Teen readers will find Haley's diary filled with countless moments of recognition as Rivers, with spot-on accuracy, captures contemporary teen life." -- Quill and Quire

Book Description

In the third book of the bestselling series from Karen Rivers, Haley reminds us that teenage life is always complicated and never boring. Just out of high school, she's the proud owner of a VW van, and she's planning her post-graduation road trip. Having decided to become a writer, she heads out to California with enemy-turned-friend Izzy, seeking good material and a surprise visit with boyfriend Brad. Along the way they break down, take wrong exits, end up in strange towns and record their hilarious experiences in a shared travel diary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Books every teen girl needs right now, May 7 2007

Poor Harmony Haley. First she was given that name by author Karen Rivers. Then Rivers made her clumsy, self-conscious, and manic. Now, in Harmony's third and final book (maybe), she's on a road trip with the most evil best friend ever, on the trail of a boyfriend who couldn't care less, and back home her dad's new girlfriend is about to give birth to a child named Galaxy. Could things get any worse? Rest assured they do, with many scrapes, black eyes, and bruises to the body and soul before Harmony figures this whole life thing out. Rivers is so funny and -- despite the lame social skills she bequeaths Harmony -- loving that really any teen girl you know needs all three of these books right now. OMG!
