Product Description

This modern cheese slicer is made from 18/10 stainless steel and given a satin finish. Instead of the single wire utilized by most cheese slicers, this one has a sharp, solid stainless steel blade for cutting through a variety of cheeses. The 7 x 5.25-in. base is perfectly sized to hold a standard block of cheese while the 7.75-in. long curved handle offers substantial leverage and a comfortable grip. On the bottom of the cheese slicer are four non-skid grips to prevent slipping. Dishwasher-safe..

Great Cheese Slicer. Nice blade. Should last longer than the slicer that uses the wire.

R.S.V.P. CHZ-BL Cheese Slicer Sept. 28 2004

The blade is flimsy. You are better off using a knife than this particular device.

Cheese slicer Oct. 19 2012
By P. Boustany - Published on Amazon.com
Needed to get rid of 3 blocks of cheese with my 3 year old daughter. She isn't too keen on cheese but getting the Cheese slicer was brilliant. She loves the idea of watching the cheese being sliced on this item. I like the fact that instead of a single wire utilized by most slicers, it has a heavy duty 4" stainless steel blade. I don't like the fact that it looks dirty when you use it but it does clean up real nice. All in all good product. Would recommend!

I bought this because I was tired of the wire ... March 4 2015

I bought this because I was tired of the wire slicer's breaking, however the blade on this item is to thick. It crumbles instead of slices the cheese. I will go to a wire cutter next time.

not the best cheese cutter Oct. 21 2007

I found that the cheese stuck to the blade. Surface was too small for a block of cheese. I would not recommend this product.

Blade flexes even when slicing soft cheese Oct. 31 2014
By Reg G. Siemens - Published on Amazon.com

Returned it. Blade flexes even on soft cheese making crooked cuts and ultimately bows the blade making it catch in the slot. I like the idea of a stainless bass but the blade seems to be the week point on this slicer.
