TOO BRIGHT Dec 6 2013

This this is SOOOO BRIGHT! It's a terrible alarm clock. It's like sleeping next to a bright blue sun. Don't buy it unless you also want it to function as a night light.

Not happy with it. April 22 2014

It is teeny-tiny, fits in the palm of my hand. That means tiny buttons, impossible to use in the dark while half-asleep. Might be OK for travel, but not for everyday use. The radio is FM only, no AM band. The radio is not loud even on max volume, won't wake you up. Poor reception for me, but this could be a placement issue. The radio controls are not intuitive and require multiple steps to change channels, volume, etc.

Pretty disappointed Feb. 21 2014

The biggest thing is the sound quality -- not good. The radio is smaller than I expected it to be, meaning the speaker is as well. It's pretty tiny and it basically sounds like one of those old small portable radios. The controls are far from intuitive -- I challenge anyone to operate the radio without reading the instructions. However, once you've got the button use down that's OK. I don't like that it runs off of a transformer that plugs into the wall, as opposed to just having a regular power cord. It also has a wire hanging off of the back for the FM antenna, which is pretty annoying. For what it is it's OK, but if I'd have seen it in person first I never would have bought it.
Poor design July 20 2014

I wish I would have listened to the poor reviews. I bought two. One for each side of the bed so that it was convenient for myself and my husband. Although there is a "minute and hour" button on the top, don't plan on just hitting them to set the time or the alarm. I tried pressing any of the other buttons that said "alarm" or "time" and still could not set it. I had thrown the manuals away because it's an alarm clock. How difficult can it be...I was wrong. I've never seen something so simple be made into a complex problem. Lastly, like others stated, it is VERY bright. I placed a sheet of 5% automobile window tint over it and it still lit up the entire room. So, I then placed a second layer of tint over it and that put the light level at about normal however if the lights are on in the room, you can not see the time at all. But it was the only way we could get to sleep without the entire room being illuminated by it.
