Product Description

From Library Journal

Attorney Dan Robak takes on the defense of Stanley "Stan the man" Willetts in another wife-murder case where the circumstantial evidence appears damning. While alert to Stan's dilemma, however, Robak works harder at locating hospitalized friend Judge Steinmetz's estranged daughter, who had long ago disappeared into drug-ridden Capitol City. Robak journeys through sin city relatively unscathed, only to encounter a band of club-and-gun-wielding lesbians back home. More straightforward in approach than Robinson, more simplistic, and much more antiseptic. A moderately involving "Crime Club" book.

Robak's Run
Joe L. Hensley

If you are a reader that likes mysteries and murder trial types of books, then I would definitely recommend this book for you to read. This is the second book that I have read from Joe L. Hensley and he has impressed me both times. Joe does an excellent job of grabbing your attention.
Robak's Run has a mix of tragedies to keep the reader involved in the book. There was a mystery to solve. There was some confusion to keep the reader guessing what could be going on. There was excitement that made it hard for me to put the book down.
Joe L. Hensley did something in this book that was different from other books that I have read. In the book there was not just one mystery but two. One is that Robak has to defend a man in court for killing his ex wife. The other mystery is that Robak had to find his friends daughter. Robak's friend had a stroke and gave Robak a strange letter saying his daughter is sick, send money.
The two mysteries are tied together towards the end of the book. The way they were tied together was very interesting; I never would have guessed it. This book receives two thumbs up from me.
