It works very well,
This review is from: Raidmax RX-850AE 850W 80 Plus Gold ATX12V / EPS12V Active PFC Power Supply (Personal Computers)
This power supply is awesome. I was scaired to buy it because numerous sources told me that raidmax was kind of iffy for quality. I decided when it was 95 bucks why not? best decision ever. It runs very quiet and very cool. I am currently only using about 500 watts of it max but it hasnt failed me yet. The only thing to note is that this will not give you 850 watts. Long story short numerous sources on the internet have proved this. It is really more like a 750 watt bronze or silver rating power supply. Anything past that and it has been known to just konk out. But you can't go wrong if you know it's really more so a 750 watt PSU because it's cheaper than most, it's modular (except for the power cables but who wouldn't use power cables?), it has a vibration dampener (couldn't get it to fit in my small case but it doesn't need it, it's silent), it comes with mounting screws and thumb screws (I use those for my cases side panel), it comes with velcro ties and a cool tool kit to stores other things in. If it doesn't explode on me then I would recommend this to anyone.

This power supply is easy to install and comes with plenty of cables, because its a modular psu.I suggest getting this psu, but i saw it at frys.com for $109.99 so u might want to get it there. All in all, this is a very efficient and quiet psu. I only have 2 fans installed (not including a stock fan for my cpu) and it's quiet efficient and saves power thanks to the pfc, so i would recommend this product to mid-range gamers.[...] 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful

This Power Supply was provided to me by Raidmax free of charge for the sole purpose of delivering an in-depth and honest review.Pros: Excellent Design Quality Extra Long Cables Modular Cable Design Makes For Easy Cable-Management Cooling Fan Is Extremely Efficient And Silent The Included Bundle Is Very Handy The Voltage Rails Are Nice And Tight Plenty Of Wattage And Amperage For Any SLI Or Crossfire Rig The Price Is Does Not Reflect The Quality (In A Good Way) Cons: Odd Grinding Noise On First Two Boot-Ups Doesn't Make Me Breakfast Besides the odd grinding noise, the Raidmax 850W Power Supply was an absolute dream to work with. I highly recommend this power supply to anybody looking for a new one. If you would like to check out our full review of this Power Supply, you can do so on our website.
