About the Author
Nicknamed "Dr. No" for his tough stand against the Charlottetown Accord, Rafe Mair's opinions have been quoted in the New York Times, The London Times, and in papers as far away as Vietnam and Colombia. Rafe joined CKNW in 1984, hosting programs at various times of the day. He has hosted the CKNW morning program since 1988.
In 1993 Rafe was named BC Broadcaster of the Year and received the coveted Michener Award for Meritorious Broadcasting in 1994 for his fight against the Kemano II Hydro Project.
He lives in Lions Bay with Wendy and their chocolate Labrador, Chauncey.
