You will get a double clicking problem with heavy use after 1 year. I changed mine for the logitech and it's alot better now.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great mouse overall... Nov. 12 2013

The mouse is great overall. It's exactly what you'd want and I can see why they're so popular. My only complaint is that mine broke after only about 6 months. Maybe that's just bad luck on my part and isn't everyone's experience with the mouse; but I have to be honest and say I was disappointed my lasted such a short time for what I payed.

I'll never use another mouse. It works equally well on My Mac and PC. I've had it for a few years now and through heavy use none of the buttons have failed. It works as well now as the day I bought it. Can't ask for much more than that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Mouse Feb. 6 2013

I am currently using this mouse for RTS games. This mouse has allowed me to adapt many hotkeys that cram up my keyboard to be put on my mouse, making the game much easier to play. (my left hand can reach all hotkeys without moving far)

I've tested the macros and they work well. (though not allowed in many RTS games) For MMO games I'm sure this tool is much more relevant. They can be very customized if you want them to be.

Only few Cons I can think of are:
-The buttons on the side ware out after a few months and you must start to press on them with more force.
-My right click became very sensitive(this is the double click problem that everyone talks about) and I actually had to take it apart to apply Electronic cleaner to it(removes dust and grease). This fixed it, but I shouldn't be fixing an expensive mouse like this in just 7 months...

This is my 2nd Naga and for $80, it is a luxury mouse. For MMO games, I'd recommend this greatly, but for RTS games and others, I think you can find a cheaper and more suitable mouse to do the job. I am just used to using the side buttons now since having used it for 3 years.

I'd clean it out every 2-3 months (the sides especially), just a small shot of cleaner in the correct places. Youtube has many vids on it.
Taking it apart to clean the inside voids your warranty, but it probably costs you more to ship it, than to fix yourself.

P.S this mouse won't turn you into a pro! Practice does that :)

Loved the mouse, it is reliable and has a good response time. I especially love the 12 buttons on the side, perfect for world of warcraft.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW Jan. 20 2012

4.0 out of 5 stars Near Perfect, Highly Recommended Dec 28 2009
My Needs:
I have been looking for a mouse like this for literally *years*. I am a serious WoW raider, and I take playing to my best seriously.

As a hard-mode holy-priest raid-healer, reaction time is everything. My job is to keep *everyone* alive in *every* pull. I need to be able to spot heal tanks when tank healers are busy with fight mechanics (spiked, silenced, etc.), and keep all the DPS up for the whole attempt, since as many of you know, even having one DPS drop is often a wipe in tough progression content.

I was previously using a G5 logitech mouse, which imo was the best mouse available at the time (I tried about 8 gaming mice a few years ago before deciding the G5 was the best), but it isn't perfect. Grid + Clique or Grid + mouseover macros are by far the best healing combination for a raid healer since selecting a target *then* casting a spell is just too slow--casting needs to happen on the first click. The G5 just lacks all the buttons needed to fully capture a priest's healing/utility arsenal.

The Good:
In comes the Razer Naga--a true game changer. This mouse is near perfect. 12 easily reached thumb buttons is brilliant. I have mapped *all* of my combat abilities to the 12 buttons, with shift/ctrl/alt modifiers, and all non-combat abilities to ctrl+shift/ctrl+alt and a mouse button.

The high tracking resolution on this mouse is FANTASTIC. It tracks better than any mouse I have used. I have the mouse's DPI set to the highest setting, and have turned down mouse sensitivity very low in the OS. This is the best setting combination for optimal use of this mouse's tracking.
