WOW,
This review is from: Razer Naga MMOG Laser Gaming Mouse (Personal Computers)

My Needs:I have been looking for a mouse like this for literally *years*. I am a serious WoW raider, and I take playing to my best seriously. As a hard-mode holy-priest raid-healer, reaction time is everything. My job is to keep *everyone* alive in *every* pull. I need to be able to spot heal tanks when tank healers are busy with fight mechanics (spiked, silenced, etc.), and keep all the DPS up for the whole attempt, since as many of you know, even having one DPS drop is often a wipe in tough progression content. I was previously using a G5 logitech mouse, which imo was the best mouse available at the time (I tried about 8 gaming mice a few years ago before deciding the G5 was the best), but it isn't perfect. Grid + Clique or Grid + mouseover macros are by far the best healing combination for a raid healer since selecting a target *then* casting a spell is just too slow--casting needs to happen on the first click. The G5 just lacks all the buttons needed to fully capture a priest's healing/utility arsenal. The Good: In comes the Razer Naga--a true game changer. This mouse is near perfect. 12 easily reached thumb buttons is brilliant. I have mapped *all* of my combat abilities to the 12 buttons, with shift/ctrl/alt modifiers, and all non-combat abilities to ctrl+shift/ctrl+alt and a mouse button. The high tracking resolution on this mouse is FANTASTIC. It tracks better than any mouse I have used. I have the mouse's DPI set to the highest setting, and have turned down mouse sensitivity very low in the OS. This is the best setting combination for optimal use of this mouse's tracking. The mouse is very comfortable in my XL hands as I can rest my hand on the mouse for simple browsing, or when requiring more precision, it is very comfortable to use with just finger grips. The ridge for the ring finger is very helpful for keeping a firm grip on the mouse, and the mouse feels very ergonomic. The mouse wheel is a very high quality build, with a high grip rubbery surface with shallow grooves for easier gripping. I would give this mouse 5 stars were it not for three small quibbles: The Bad: First and foremost, the lack of custom mapping the 12 keys is unfortunate. I wouldn't mind so much, except that Shift-Numpad-5 sends no signal (shift+numpad keys has the numpad act as arrows/pgup/pgdn/home/end, and hence shift-numpad-5 does nothing), but Shift+Numpad-5 is the second easiest button combination to press, and hence would ideally be mapped to my healer cooldown. As it is, I've mapped the mouse to the 1 -> = keys, which means I can't *also* use 1 -> 5 for other abilities. Secondly, the forward and back buttons (mouse 4/5) are inconveniently placed, and are somewhat awkward to use. Making these buttons about 50% wider would help a lot. Finally, it's a shame there aren't buttons above/below the mouse wheel. As it is, I have plenty of thumb buttons, but at the expense of index finger/middle finger buttons. Bottom Line: Great mouse. Must have for serious end-game raid healers. Best mouse on the market. I look forward to a firmware/software/driver update to fix button mapping (although it's been a few months with no announcement). Having tried almost all of the gaming mice currently on the market, I say without hesitation that this is the best mouse available for MMO gaming to date. Aside: For WoW healers: use the Bindpad addon with this mouse to get over the macro limits for mouseover macroing all your spells. "/cast [target=mouseover, nodead, help, group][] SPELL NAME" is how I macro all my heals.
