A nice set of remixes March 8 2009

While this CD has been billed as Elvis' first album of remixes, that honor actually goes to 1981's "Guitar Man" album. Regardless this is actually a good set of remixes. I know remixes can be controversial and many Elvis "purist" dislike them; however I think they provide an outlet for fans that long for more Elvis recordings and also provide a way to introduce Elvis to a new generation.

"Baby Let's Play House" was released as the single for this album and was a minor hit in the UK, but there are several other remixes in this set that I like better including "All Shook Up" and "Don't Be Cruel". All in all this is a nice set and certainly worth a listen.

GREAT CD Dec 17 2009

I'm a big Elvis fan, and I love this CD. I wish it would be more popular - it seems like no one has heard of it. It's officially endorsed by EPE, and has the Graceland logo on the back of the CD.

While the original songs are classics in their own right, these remixes are fun, and put a HUGE smile on my face the first time I heard them. A new spin on old favorites. DJ Spankox has done and excellent job!

2-3 remixes good...others nothing special. July 13 2009

Starts with Baby Let's Play House, which is "okay", but the best songs follow. Blue Moon of Kentucky the best remix. Very good job on this song. Don't be cruel, Teddy Bear and Hound Dog not too bad. After that, it sort of goes downhill...as if he had nothign left. After all, the techniques and remix sounds used sound similar on all the songs, so they sort of get old after the first few...or rather work best on the first few.
Elvis would be turning over in his grave... May 8 2013

Got a bass drum? Then you too can modify otherwise classic Elvis music to the point of inducing headaches and nausea. This CD doesn't hold a candle to the Cirque du Soleil Viva Elvis sound track. My mistake, live and learn. Don't buy this junk.
