ReBoot: The Definitive Mainframe Edition

Once again, I don't understand the complaints made. I have watched Season 1, 3 & 4 with no issues what so ever. I skipped Season 1 & 2 at first since I watched them recently, then to make sure the majority was good to review I watched Season 1 with out any issues and figured Season 2 was also fine.

Nothing at all was wrong with my sound, in fact it's really good. So good that I was able to hear it, when usually I have to turn my tv up half way to watch Gilmore Girls on DVD at a comfortable hearing level. I don't know what issues others are having, but that has certainly not been my experience. So I hope that you take the chance to buy this regardless, because it really is a great release.

I haven't gotten into all the bonus features yet, but I did watch the interview with the co-creator and he says some interesting things in it. Reflecting on some voice actors and how some of them came to be. Even explaining the Two Bob situation. And talking about an artist who would submit more than asked and one day he turned in a picture of Megabyte as a truck. Which lead them to create a way to use that in the story.

This release has been a long time coming and I'm glad that we're finally able to get ReBoot in full.

As for the show itself, it's been awhile since I've seen it all so I was able to pick up a lot more references than I was able to when I was first watching it (at around 10 years old). It's just one of those shows that the more you watch, the more you'll notice and if you were like me and watched it as a kid, you'll definitely pick up a lot more.

Even with the outdated CG it's still very enjoyable to watch. Season 4 still looks amazing to me, so much so it's kind of hard to get used to after watching Season 1, 2 and 3 back to back.

If you watched ReBoot when it was first on TV then this collection is a must!

I've watched the whole set now from start to finish with no disc issues or loss of quality.
You won't regret this purchase!

This set is simply awesome. The quality of the video AND audio are impeccable. Sure it's not Blu-ray HD quality, neither did I expect it to be, but as a DVD it is top notch. I was leery at first to purchase this set because of negative comments about the sound quality. On my set there are absolutely no sound issues, both the dialogue and music is true to the original TV series. Watched and became attached to this show with my kids when this series ran on YTV. My twenty year olds and I now get to relive those great moments!! I highly recommend this box set!
