This is a wonderful book because it embodies the author's philosophy of life - it's more than just a DIY book, it's a guide to a way of life that is more creative, fulfilling and easier on the planet. Very inspiring! And the projects are great too!

I have been upcyling for years now and I was hoping to get some more creative inspiration. Most of the projects really require a serger and is dated and unfinished looking. Perhaps her style is not my taste. It just seems a bit 90's to me. Some great tips for beginner sewing and how to hand sew some projects.
