garbage,

Just watched this movie again. Bought it at a 2nd. hand store for a dollar so no problem with it being in my garbage can. For some reason I liked this movie in my youth, but seen through my older, mature eyes and it's garbage. A very poor plot about an invasion of russian soldiers, paratroopers, into a small midwest town during WWIII. The soldiers kill alot of people and round up most adults. A small group of teenagers evade capture and hide out in the surrounding forests and landscape. They call themselves Wolverines as per their high school football team and spend most of their time engaging the russians in surprise combat. The soldiers can't shot straight while the teenagers never miss. Poor story line, poor acting, poor casting, a very stupid movie.

Back when there was a Soviet Union they get together with the Cubans to invade the U.S.A. Unfortunatly for them they chose to drop-in on one of the highest points in the world. The commies pick the wrong town to start their invasion. Here we find benevolent but defiant parents and the fiercest set of patriotic teenagers called wolverines; they will attempt to defend and free the country from the dastardly invaders. As we hear every cliche and see all the pitfalls, we get to kibitz.Don't ask if an innovation can take place. It has. Now what are you going to do about it? Relatives shot, friends turned traitor, and outgunned, don't let that stop you.
