This new Thrice cd is very good! It's not too expensive and there's 6 different song on cd!
1. Flags of Dawn (Vheissu B-Side)
2. Weight of Glory (Vheissu B-Side)
3. Under a Killing Moon (The Artist in the Ambulance) (LIVE)
4. For Miles (Vheissu) (LIVE)
5. Red Sky (Vheissu) (LIVE)
6. Of Dust of Nations (Vheissu) (LIVE)
And if you like acoustic guitar, you will like these live songs!
I really love ''Red Sky'' (my favorite) and ''For Miles'' from Vheissu, so I've been happy to find a live version of both on this new cd! And for ''Of Dust and Nations'', it's really not my favorite song of Vheissu but I have to say it's a better version on this cd with an acoustic guitar!
Anyway, I hope this review helped you!
And sorry for my bad english, I do my best!!

Definitely worth it April 23 2006
By Janos Audron - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This EP contains two really good B-sides from Vheissu (Flags of Dawn and The Weight of Glory) and live versions of Red Sky, Under A Killing Moon, Of Dust and Nations, and For Miles. The live versions are softer renditions of these songs, and it really changes the dynamic of the songs and I think Dustin does a fantastic job on them.

As for the two B-Sides, I really don't understand why they weren't put on the album. Thrice is my favorite band and Vheissu is their best album talent-wise, but there are a few songs on there I would easily trade for these two. Great songs.

If you've liked any of the Thrice albums, especially Vheissu, this is definitely an ideal pick up for you. If you've been a fan all along, this is a no-brainer.

Must have for any Thrice fan April 20 2006

Only 6 songs, but it's great. I can't believe "Flags of Dawn" and "Weight of Glory" where kept off of Vheissu - they are absolutely incredible songs.

The other 4 songs aren't new, but they ARE new versions of them. The only one I had heard before was "Of Dust and Nations," which was from AOL Sessions. The rest are awesome acoustic versions of the originals. "Under Killing Moon" was especially interesting to hear since the original is so heavy.

Maybe it will be released in the US soon so you can avoid the hefty import price-tag. However, die-hards shouldn't have a problem shelling out the cash for it. If you love Thrice, its worth it.

This EP is entirely necessary for Thrice fans because it includes two bonus tracks not on other albums and some cool live versions of others.
Some wonderful new versions of some great Thrice songs June 12 2012

I love Thrice. I am almost convinced that they can do no wrong. This EP is impressive. Two new songs and 4 redone versions, 1 from Artist in the Ambulance and 3 from Vheissu.

The new songs are awesome. I especially like "Weight of Glory." It would have felt right at home on Vheissu with "The Earth Will Shake" and "Hold Fast Hope." It's got some decently heavy guitar parts with Dustin's screaming/yelling combination he does so well. The bridge right before the outro gets downright intense before everything mellows out and the song fades to the next track. "Flags of Dawn" is a more laid back rock song. It kind of feels like what's to come for the likes of the Beggars and Major/Minor albums. But I also feel it could hold it's own along with "Atlantic" and "Between the End and Where We Lie." The verses are beautiful and Dustin really conveys some emotion in his singing.

The acoustic tracks are well done. I always like it when a band can really make an alternate versions of their song interesting and not just the exact same thing on an acoustic guitar. "Under a Killing Moon" and "Red Sky" are solo acoustic with Dustin and "Under a Killing Moon" is a pretty impressive take on a previously heavy and aggressive song. For Miles sounds pretty similar to the original, but minus the distorted guitars and the heavier, screaming parts at the end. The AOL version of Of Dust and Nations is incredible. I didn't think the song could be improved upon, but lo and behold, Thrice has done it.

An incredible outing from Thrice with two great new tracks and some extremely well done re-imagining of songs from earlier works.
Can't complain. Oct. 31 2011

As with any CD bought online, it seems that half the time they come with the case cracked or broken. The coin landed on the broken/cracked side this time. Other than that it still has the best song ever recorded on it. No scratches or anything to impede me from enjoying it to the fullest; Which is what I wanted.
