About the Author
Kate Saunders worked as an actress until she was twenty-five and then became a writer. She is the author of six novels for adults and has edited one collection of short stories. For children, she has written the very successful BELFRY WITCHES series on which a major BBC TV series was based, and CAT AND THE STINKWATER WAR, described as 'lively and delightful' by The Times.
