Si vous êtes un sculpteur amateur et que vous ne connaissez pas Lora S. Irish, procurez-vous un des ses livres. Vous ne serez pas déçu. Je n'ai jamais suivi de cours de sculpture et j'ai déjà 2 oeuvres à mon actif. Les explications sont limpides, les photos sont claires. Si vous avez de la volonté et de la patience, vous arrivez à reproduire tous les projets dans ses livres. Dans Wood Spirit, elle montre des exemples de sculptures, elle suggère des outils que vous pourriez utiliser avec profit pour compléter les projets, elle parle des sortes de bois, donne des conseils pour aiguiser vos outils et offre plus de 100 photos pour vous aider à compléter étape par étape la figure qui se trouve sur la couverture de l'ouvrage. Amusez-vous!

I have enjoyed all of the Lora S. Irish's books that I have gotten.This one is very good step by step for the beginner. I would love to see her tips and tech for carving in harder woods especially oak. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful
