Recently, I began reading reviews on hot rollers to see how they work... more curious than serious about using them. I read many, many reviews of various brands of hot rollers. The more I read, the more interested I became, especially in the Remington Pearl Ceramic Heated Clip Hair Rollers. I decided to give them a try... they are absolutely PERFECT!
The container is easy to work from and the rollers heat up very quickly, about 3 to 5 minutes. There are just the right number of larger rollers to smaller rollers and more than enough for a full head of shoulder length hair. I like that the hair gets heat from the roller and from the clip as it seems to set the curl very fast.
Wonderful news for people with fine hair is that the curls LAST! They really LAST! In addition, the curls don't look like roller curls, they look like natural gently curly hair. When I want more curl, all I do is use ALL the curlers in smaller sections, when I want a softer look, I use large sections and FEWER curlers. Either way, the curl that results really lasts.
The true bonus with these curlers is how quickly they set the hair. I plug mine in to heat up when I begin blow drying my hair. Since my hair is fine, that usually takes about five minutes. I then set the curlers and wait about five minutes and then take them out again. The hair is still warm but the curl is set and lasts well. When I leave them in until the hair is cool, about 10 or 15 minutes, the curl is a bit more defined.

The only thing is that it is really difficult to get my hair around the roller. Nothing grips it
It keeps sliding of the roller.
I wanted something like my mom always had. Her rollers were old fashioned, hot water rollers. But it had pins on the rollers, that made it easier to roll your hair on it. This rollers is totally smooth
But if you manage to get your hair around the rollers and the clips on, it works good
I left mine on for 10 min and that was sufficient.
The clips are plastic and within 1 month 3 are broken and unless you take very small amounts of hair on each roller - it does not hold and you run out of rollers
I don't stuff a lot of hair on to each roller, and the clips would still fly off of the rollers.
As well, the don't hold their heat very long. In comparison to my old Conair set, as flimsy as the clips were, they stayed much better. I had to resort to using my Conair set's clips, in then ended up finishing off with my old Conair rollers.
It's also much more dangerous to use with the hot heating bars exposed, unlike the above mentioned set.
This was a disappointing purchase.
