Always worried when buying non brand equipment. In this case it paid in spades. I got two batteries, a wall charger and a car charger...for 19 bucks. Canon wanted almost $40. When i got it, i charged the batteries(charges are very fast less than an hour to fully charge the battery...not sure exactly how long but less than an hour). Popped it in and it worked like charm, best thing is i now have a spare, so i'll never have to wait for a charge again and have extra capacity when vacationing....good stuff!!!
Update - I have now used one of the batteries and I can tell you that the duration of time before the juice drains seems to be less then the original canon battery. Didn't time it and can't say how much less, but do recall not having to charge the batteries on my original for a few days with heavy use. With this one, i had to charge it up at the end of the day as it was running low. Of course with two, there should always be one in the charger....
