Product Description

2008 sophomore album produced by Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley, Gorillaz), a like minded devotee of obscure Psychedelia. Replica Sun Machine radiates charm, imagination, and scintillating melodies. Word Magazine says; 'Replica Sun Machine is a revanchist's dream, a sun-kissed missive from Psych-Pop's golden age. Their way with a tune is undeniable and when they hit the spot (the gorgeous 'Yesterdays To Come' or the Flaming Lips-gone-glam euphoria of 'Now Til '69'), the effect is cathartic'. Wall of Sound. 11 tracks. 2008.

Good production thanks to Dangermouse, sometimes reminds me of Moby, such as the song "Glitches and Bugs", and sometimes The Dandy Warhols, the song "I Know". John Cale put his fifty cents in too. Stand out songs, Harmonica, Glitches and Bugs, House of Lies, I Know and Sun Machine.

The Best Album I Have Heard In A Long Time Feb. 25 2013
By D. Michael - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
This has been one of my favorite albums of the past few years. Every song on the album is good, which is rare. The only criticism I have is with whoever distributes this music. It is way too hard to purchase and isn't available anywhere for streaming. I recommend it too all my friends, but then follow that recommendation up with a warning that it is nearly impossible to find. Anyway, it is worth paying the extra money to import this brilliant cd.
The Shortwave Set ‎- Replica Sun Machine Oct. 1 2013
By scoundrel - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
The Shortwave Set excels at psychedelic pop gems, and REPLICA SUN MACHINES shows off their bright, sparkling side. "Glitches 'n' Bugs" is handclap-ready, while "Replica" dips a toe into controlled chaos. "Now Til '69" has a buzzing bass that keeps things moving tight, and "Yesterdays To Come" has some classical flourishes in the form of background strings. A nice spin through 60s nostalgia.
GREAT IMPORT CD! RARE... March 26 2015
By Kacy from Florida - Published on Amazon.com

I love my purchase on this because it was very hard to find as it is an import CD. Only Amazon had it new and previously owned. I got pre-owned was like brand new so I was very happy to SAVE MONEY! I found more songs than the ones I ordered it for do that was even better. Plays fine 5 years later. I very pleased.
Great album from a band gone mysteriously missing. Jan. 13 2015
By Dylan Normile - Published on Amazon.com

A great album. It's too bad the band is probably done for good because I've enjoyed all of their work. Good luck reaching any of the members too but if you do let me know. Harmonia was an iTunes free song of the week many many years ago and I have been listening ever since.
