Bellamy simply offers the best, in depth study of R2P. His detailed account gives an informed understanding of how debates surrounding "humanitarian intervention" have pushed the international community towards a difficult compromise. Some may argue that the demonstration is not critical enough about the role played by US foreign policy and by ideological divides about the delicate topic of humanitarian intervention. But the global argument is quite balanced and nuanced. A great reading!
