If you have seen the first Bastard Swordsman then you know the story has not finished and there is still unfinished bussiness.
Return is even crazier and some new villains are added.Legendary Chen Kuan Tai is the Japanese master Samurai.Kong Do from Kung Fu Instructor and Blood Brothers,Chan Lau(Lady Assassin,Dragon's Claws),Lung Tien Hsiang(Five Element Ninjas,Long Road to Gallantry)all play the Japanese Henchmen. There is a Cameo from Phillip Ko(Shaolin Intruders,Legend of a Fighter),Lo Lieh(King Boxer,Dragon Missile).Anthony Lau Wing returns to play a different character.

more crazy kung fu and a mixture of wire fu before CG was invented.Another masterpiece from Tony Liu Jun Guk.

If you like the first movie you will like this one.Chen Kuan Tai is the villain in this one. It has more of the same over the top action from the first film. The only problem i had with this movie is that Norman Sui was only in the movie 25 minutes other than that i thought it was action packed and worth keeping in my collection. It's a weird movie just like the first but it has some pretty crazy special effects and it's action packed. Any movie with Chen Kuan Tai ,Lo Lieh and Phillip Ko in the cast has got to be great.

I enjoyed this sequel but it was not better than the first one. The fighting and the special effects were excellent. Very well done. Highly recommend.

Bad, really bad Sept. 12 2012

Totally disappointed with this movie. Some good fight scenes but nothing better than I've seen in many others. Most disappointing was the heavy mix of ridiculous "star wars", science fiction scenes that turned this movie into a "sad" comedy. The worse scenes and there were many, involved the "japanese" heart control technique where his chest swells up like a pigeon and bounced into the back of the chinese, while the other guy is beating on drums to make it stop. Probably the silliest, if not stupidest scene i've ever seen in any martial arts film. To think, I also bought the first movie which hasn't arrived. Hope is nothing like the "return".
