This book is a great collection of "busy day" stories involving Richard Scarry characters. The book has 12 stories. You will enjoy reading this to a young one since the stories are not too long and are entertaining (lots of variety). My only issue is that the book's publisher didn't realize that the numbers printed on the pages don't match the listings in the table of contents.

My brother and I grew up loving Richard Scarry books and now my 5 year old son has developed a love for them as well. Unfortunately, our local library has very few to choose from. I found this treasury to be a wonderful bargain and a great way to build up our own personal Richard Scarry library at home.
