Concentrated Sci-Fi goodness Sept. 11 2014

Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This story is a perfect example of what makes science fiction fans love their genre. Written in the seventies, it imagines a future that was inconceivable when written and now seems inevitable. Here, the future of a truly "always on" internet is taken to a beautifully written extreme. If the prediction were not enough, the story captivates the imagination about humanity's future in ways that only "Star Trek" come close to matching. A future that seems so real and so likely that it infects the mind and imagination of the reader and becomes a sense memory rather than a story once read.

Admin, please fix this link. 5 STARS ARE FOR ANY BOOK BY NORMAN SPINRAD. Clicking on the "Riding the Torch, by Norman Spinrad" link from

mindblowing books, A Listmania list by "shamelessh", results in a page full of reviews for an X-men novel. You X-men fans should read some Spinrad, too. You'll dig him. You too, admin.
