This review is from: Ripped! (Mass Market Paperback)
Lieutenant Colonel Mitch Dugan is a rigid, hard as nails paratrooper who does everything by the book. As a Special Ops training evaluator, Mitch is driven to make sure that every man he evaluates is "as prepared as possible to go into a mission, do their job, and come out alive."

Eden Walters is a free spirited photographer who grew up as an army brat with a Brigadier General for a father. She wants absolutely nothing to do with the rigid controls of a military base and that means no military men. With this resolve in mind, she grudgingly agrees to help out her BFF by shooting a charity "hard body" calendar of Army jumpers on a military base.

In a perfect world, the two never should have met. After Mitch (literally) knocks Eden on her butt in the middle of the hallway and then Eden proceeds to lay a lip-lock on him like nobody's business, claiming he reminded her of a Roman messenger of the Gods statue she has in her garden, they MIGHT have been able to ignore the chemistry erupting between them. But when Mitch's Company Commander decides to teach him a little lesson about propriety by assigning him as Eden escort around the base, there's just no tamping down the fire.

Another keeper!!! Jennifer LaBrecque has definitely been touched by the cover fairy. I'm positive of that. When I picked up Ripped at the grocery store, I drooled all over the sexy paratrooper as he was slipping out of his jump suit. Of course, Ms. LaBrecque did not disappoint with the story line. She more than delivered on the sizzling chemistry between Mitch and Eden. I didn't set the book down once until I reached the end, and only then did I discover the treat Blaze slipped in on us. Mitch's friend in the story had already received his HEA in Triple Threat. When you buy the book, Ripped, you get Triple Threat slipped in the back. Although I had already downloaded it from the Harlequin website, I now have a print copy that will be a nice addition to my LaBrecque collection.
