Whether you've been eagerly waiting for Riptide to come out on DVD for years, or simply remember the series fondly, you should buy this set!!

The picture and sound quality are wonderful -- in fact, it's better than I could have anticipated! The show had been cut up when it ran on cable in later years, in order to fit in more commercials, and I'd heard that some DVD companies were releasing shows in that same condition. This is NOT one of them. VEI took the original footage and remastered it, bringing it to us in sharp, clean, beautiful condition!!

It's more than another 80's detective series -- sure, it's about cases and action and high-speed chases, but it's also about the friendship of these three guys and the fun times (and some bad times) that they share.

THANKS to the actors and creators who brought us Riptide in the first place, and THANKS to VEI (and Amazon.ca) for bringing it back to us again!!

This boxset is just amazing. After years of waiting finally we have Riptide in fantastic picture and sound quality. VEI have done a marvelous job of bring this marvelous TV series to DVD. There is a total of 3 DVD's each in a slimline case with excellent pictures on each cover as well as a booklet outlining each character and episode. This is a real treat for all Riptide fans and for anyone wanting to watch one fantastic tv series.

After that long time of waiting it is a great pleasure to watch this show in excellent quality.

The box really is nice, with great photos on all three DVDs and a carefully made booklet giving much information about the characters, as well as an episode guide for the first season.

Simply a MUST for every Riptide fan.
