DVD apparently made on the fly,

This review is from: Roar the Complete Series (DVD)
I really liked this show on TV so I bought the DVD (finally). The only thing is, there are a few things about it that indicate that Universal (or whoever is responsible for Universal's DVD releases) didn't care that much about the production. All of the 13 episodes are on there and each episode is decent quality, but I have a few gripes about the presentation. Disk 1 says there's 5 episodes on it on the back of the box, but don't go looking for the 5th one on Disk 1, it's on Disk 3. And the episode is spelled differently on the DVD versus the box (a minor mistake, I know). The mistakes don't bother me *that* much, but I did spend my hard-earned money on the DVD so it'd be nice if they'd make a little effort to at least have everything labeled and spelled correctly.

10 REASONS TO ORDER THE BOX DVD SET OF 'ROAR',
By
This review is from: Roar the Complete Series (DVD)
1. A young Heath Ledger's starring performance as tribal leader Conor in this short-lived 1997 TV classic2. The lush setting of Ireland in the 5th century A.D. 3. The exciting adventures of the Celtic tribes as they try to unite against the Roman conquerors 4. The spooky and supernatural Longinus (Sebastian Roche), a scheming villain who was cursed to live forever as he was the Centurion who had pierced the side of Christ on the cross 5. A wonderful cast including the sexy Vera Farmiga as a freed Roman slave who fights with Conor's tribes and Lisa Zane as the seductively evil Queen Diana 6. Excellent guest stars, including Melissa George, Scott Brewer, Keri Russell and others 7. Inspired direction by Shaun Cassidy 8. The historical poetry of how the people of Ireland and Great Britain in general drove out the Romans and became one kingdom 9. A touching pilot episode that establishes the main characters and explains the series title "Roar" as being about the roar of life everywhere, and the will of all people to be free 10. The Irish mythology coming alive in the storylines and...did I mention the brilliant Heath Ledger?
