Finally! A perfect Aerosmith concert performance captured on Blu-ray, or is it?

I thought this was going to be a full concert but it really isn't. Eagle Rock Entertainment has given us a mish mash of live Aerosmith performances from Japan with video and interview segments of the band between songs. When I buy a concert Blu-ray, I want to see the full concert straight on and that's it. Commentaries and interviews compiled for viewing should be located in the bonus material section of the disc. At the very least, the viewer should have the option of how they want to watch the concert.

I commend Eagle Rock on the fantastic HD Video and audio of this Blu-ray. The HD picture and sound are nothing short of incredible but the poor editing really takes away from the concert experience for me. There will be some that say the interviews between songs aren't that big of a deal but for me it was. I don't know why Eagle Rock couldn't present a full show in its entirety for Aerosmith fans? I think casual fans of Aerosmith will be happy with this concert Blu-ray because of the picture and sound but hard core fans will come away a little disappointed.

Blu-Ray with DTS-MA... thought this would be a great sounding concert. Boy, was I disappointed. Tinny sound....no bass and
I am running a 7.2 sound system with two 12"inch subwoofers . Maybe if you are a die hard Aerosmith fan you might enjoy this but am sure you will not be happy with the sound.

I was really excited to purchase a concert of this great band shot and produced in 2011. With today's technology, I was expecting its audio to be at least half as good as the excellent audio quality of the Eagles Farewell Australia tour blu ray produced back in 2005. Unfortunately, both stereo and dts 5.1 sounded tinny and cheap. Good video overall but due to the sound quality, it was a major disappointment. Even Supertramp Live in Paris produced back in 1979 sounded better. Hopefully they will get it right the next time cuz I love this band.

The audio and video production quality are excellent. The concert was very good, although I think I like the production they did in Japan a bit better (even though the A/V wasn't as good on the 2002 DVD)
