After splitting my cable signal to have a dedicated line for internet I then route to this for the 4 tv's in my home. All have HD/Digital cable boxes and the picture is great on each one. The whole home PVR (which is blasting signal back through this) also still works fine. My only complaint is that the grounding screws are very cheap and if you over-tighten (as I did) the heads snap off. Otherwise very pleased.

HASH(0x9c83ddc8) out of 5 stars Did Not Work Jan. 24 2013
By Pat Kneer - Published on Amazon.com
I had a weak signal in my in-laws place and wanted to boost the signal and split it for cable TV and Internet. The cable TV worked fine (it did before), but the Internet would drop all the time. If I had a weak TV signal, perhaps it would have made it better, but I wanted to split the signal, and this product did not work as it said.

This product worked great and was easy to use. Without this device many channels were not viewable and those that were had lots of pixelation. This product rocks.

HASH(0x9ccf5c48) out of 5 stars Solved My Cable Problems - Highl Recommended May 24 2010
By C. Hill - Published on Amazon.com
The Rocketfish Cable Amplifier works exactly as advertised! In fact, it would have been impossible to write this review without it since my cable modem had dropped out again (Comcast has replaced my modem and tweaked my levels twice) and only came back up after I installed this amplifier where the cable line comes into the house.

This is a well made unit that comes with a power supply and mounting screws. It connects to the coax cables like any other splitter and has a red power LED to indicate that it is working.

We bought this at a local electronics store (Rocketfish is actually a brand name owned by one of the retail chains) because I needed it right away.

Highly Recommended!

HASH(0x9c826030) out of 5 stars Fixed spotty/scambled HD channels Aug. 4 2012

I have Comcast(Xfinity) cable tv and internet using 3 tv's and cable mode. I was using 2 sets of splitters and my main TV never got all HD channels and when some did come in they were spotty and or scambled or not displayed at all. Simply hooking up this Rocketfish amplifier it fixed my problems. All channels come in clear. There was no notible difference in internet speeds however.

HASH(0x9cf10c84) out of 5 stars This was a great buy and did the job right Feb. 15 2015

This was a great buy and did the job right. I bought a unit from Walmart and that lasted about a day. Very weak. This unit was 3 times as strong and I can run 4 TV's instead of 1(just running 2 at the moment). My main TV, does pick up more channels, than the unit I have in the bedroom that's about 20 feet away. Are there other amplifiers that work better; maybe. But I know I didn't spend no $50.00 on the unit. Would buy again.
