The soundtrack stands the test of time portraying the struggle of R. Balboa for recognition and the overcoming of life's obstacles in the context of a humble love story.Highly recommended for those 'needing inspiration moments'. Great soundtrack to work out too as well.

1002kbps or 845kbps? This 30th anniversary CD release of the original Rocky film's soundtrack has increased bitrates on all the tracks from remastering. The first number is the bitrate of "Gonna Fly Now" on this rerelease vs. the original CD release. It all sounds a bit better, making one of the best soundtrack albums of all time even better. But no extra tracks. Surely there must have been more of Conti's score that could have been added? Still, an essential part of anyone's collection of great music and definitely the best album of the entire Rocky series, before they abandoned Bill Conti and went off on that ridiculous pop/rap/rock tangent.

This soundtrack is fabulous, just like the film. I think it is a great CD to workout with....Inspiring,to say the least. It was great to hear these tunes, after all these years.ROCKY ROCKS!
