I was given this book by a friend to read. I do not usually read this type of book, but I decided to give it a go. I started it and from the first few pages I could not put it down. It is a fantastic read and now I am looking for more of Lesley Pearse books to read.

By S. Iorio - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book grabs you from the 1st paragraph and keeps your attention with every page. Its the story of a young girl growing up in poverty and cruelty through the 1940's and 50's who faces seemingly insurmountable challenges but never gives up. Very well written. A must read!

So he sets up a project to find the most suitable person.....I really enjoyed this book. Its very funny - and an interesting insight to the world of autistic people in all its wonderful range of degrees of autism. After all, Engineers I've heard are at one end of that continuum. My husband is an engineer.....
