I've only used this software once since receiving it, and I managed to copy several segments of VHS video to DVD without problems. However, I expected it to be much more user-friendly than it is, especially in regards to the claims made that it's easy to edit, place titles and captions, etc. Those features may be easy to use but they're not easy to find. I plan to explore further, using tutorials and help menus, but the info certainly isn't front and centre, or if it is, I've missed it.

Fast shipping. However,product doesn't work as described. Flickering occurs and cannot be corrected. No help from Customer Service.

I don't know what other people's problems are...,

I bought this at the local Wal Mart, mostly on a whim because I'd been searching online and not really knowing what to pick, nor wanting to pay shipping. When I got it home, I belatedly looked up the reviews and felt pretty worried by all the people having problems.One person had written a review pretty similar to what I have to say; I don't know what people's problems are caused by, but I haven't had any. As suggested by Roxio, I disabled my antivirus programs before installing, and had no troubles. My antivirus has been up and running each time I've used the program since with no troubles. One thing I haven't actually done yet is burn a video to DVD; I am simply saving them to an external hard drive. For reference, I am running 64 bit windows 7 home premium. One drawback to this product is that it costs more than some others I was looking at online. But that's what I get for buying it in person. But no matter, it does what I bought it for. No complaints from me!
