Snaps on snug. I've dropped the iPod twice and no damage. Not a scratch on the case. I really like the rubberized feel. It slips in your pocket smoothly unlike silicone, but isn't slippery like a metal or smooth plastic case. The case is inexpensive, so expect some artifacts from the molding process. You can use fine sandpaper to get rid of these and smooth out all the edges perfectly. You get what you pay for.

I really like this case. It goes on the ipod 3g with ease. The ipod fits perfectly. The cut outs are perfect. I'm not sure what to do with the free strap that came with it. For the price, I recommend it. One more thing. It is a pain to take the case off without too much damage. Make sure you won't want to take it off if you put it on.

The case is simple, but highly efficient! It surprised me for the price, to be honest. I was skeptical to the point I bought myself another case at the Apple store (a silicone one). However, it exceeded my expectations and gave my silicone case to a close family member. I needed a case that also protected the front part of my iTouch as much as possible for I am quite a klutz. If you are not looking for something flashy without that silicone feel but won't slip from your fingers like hard cases, this is an amazing case for you!A drawback is that it gets dirty on the back from miscellaneous items and slightly unclean or clean fingers. If you are a neat freak, it might be an issue, but if you don't mind as much (because cases get dirty or slightly dirty, it's bound to happen) you should get it. Also, DO NOT, i repeat, do not, put it on if you do not like it or if you intend to replace it very soon. It is quite a hassle to get off, but a lesser one to put on.
It's only 99 cents plus shipping and handling, but preferred over a $8-9 one.
