Sharon Creech, author of Newbery Medal winner Walk Two Moons and Newbery Honor book The Wanderer, is in fine form with her hilarious yet poignant novel about downtrodden siblings who refuse to be squished altogether. The perfectly happy ending is somewhat predictable, but readers who have fallen in love with each quirky character won't mind a bit. Ruby Holler,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ruby Holler (Paperback)
Ruby Holler is an excellent book. I liked it because there is suspense and funny points. It was fun to read about how troublesome the twins, Dallas and Florida, are and how different foster families managed them. I have read other novels by Sharon Creech and I personally think that this is one of her best books ever. I recommend this book to people who like adventure and a bit of mystery.

I was very impressed by this book!I could barely put it down! This book tells the story of Florida and Dallas, twins who have lived in an orphan home all their lives and are a little interesting. Okay, a LOT interesting. Then they get fostered by an elderly couple. This is the story of how the elderly couple and Florida and Dallas deal with the new two people. VERY good read!

Ruby Holler is a great book and I think it's one of the best books I read so far.Ruby Holler is about two twins a girl named Florida and a boy named Dallas. These two are trying to get on a night train and it's really interesting how Dallas and Florida try to accomplish this adventure. If you want to find out if Dallas and Florida accomplish their adventure and get on the night train you will have to read the book.So stop whatever your doing now and go to the library because Ruby Holler is waiting for you.
