Product Description

Newly Updated for 2014: Now includes the 5-Second Flat Belly Secret, 5-Minute Miracle Exercises, How to Lose Weight Spinning Around in a Circle Like Little Kids, and the Effortless Exercise Method.

Hate running but want a flat belly? If you want to lose at least one clothing size and up to 5 pounds in the next 2 weeks using simple techniques that can take LESS than 5 minutes per day and without any changes in your diet... then Running Sucks! by Jennifer Jolan and Rich Bryda will show you how.

This book is not meant for hardcore runners or people who enjoy running or exercise. It's designed for women who hate running, hate the gym, and are short on time.

Here are some of the secrets you'll learn inside:
 • How to lose weight spinning around in a circle like little kids (yeah, it sounds crazy, but it works)!
 • No grueling long distance jogging (jogging and long runs are forbidden!)
 • How to rub inches off your belly in just 3 minutes per day with your hand. (That's all it takes - safe, natural, scientific.)
 • How exactly to use 2-minute TV commercials to turn your body into a fat burning machine.
 • A strange (but effective) "exercise" that causes you to lose up to 3 inches from your waist in less than a month. (Not 1 in 300 personal trainers know about this!)
 • How to "trick" your central nervous system into shedding fat without hard exercising. Simple 1 to 5 minute miracle exercises that can help you lose fat FASTER and more efficiently than if you spent 60+ minutes on a treadmill.
 • A scientifically proven 5-second flat belly "exercise" you can do anywhere at any time!
 • A crazy simple way (almost nobody knows about) to "dissolve" cellulite off your body while watching TV! (And believe it or not, there's NO exercise necessary to do this.)
 • A popular kid's toy that is perfect for developing a sexy hourglass figure -- with beautiful, feminine curves in your abs, waist and hips. (It's FUN, too.)
 • How to put your body in "fat burning mode" for 18-36 continuous hours AFTER you're done working out. (Even when you're sitting down or sleeping!)
 • A little-known way to lose weight while standing almost completely still!
 • What to do approximately 1 minute after meals that can help drop belly fat.
 • A special way of walking for just 20 minutes per day that can burn 5 pounds of pure fat off your body in just 2 weeks or less.
 • How to literally "breathe" fat out of your body.
 • And much more (Including 10 Additional FREE Bonus Health & Weight Loss Reports at a Special Link on the Last Page of the Kindle File)

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 minutes? I can do that! July 29 2012

I am not an exercise junkie, and doubt I'll ever be one. I had recently purchased the Chris Powell book "Choose to Lose" and everything looked great until I got to the exercise chapters. There is no way I'm doing that exercise program, it's just not going to happen. Started looking around and one link led to another, and I came to the book with the funny title: Running SUCKS! Had to look, glad I did. 5 minutes, that I can do! Started a week ago, promise to give it at least a month. The first day I could only do a minute at a time, but by the end of the week I was able to do the 5 minutes split into 3 heats. Hey it's not much, but it's an improvement!

The book is a quick and easy read, plenty of content with minimal fluff. Glad I bought it!

***Additional comments
It's now been 4 weeks, and I'm still doing my 5 minutes of stairs 5 days a week. I can now go 5-6 minutes without stopping. My clothes fit better and my husband says he can definitely see a difference!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Anti-Runner Comes Alive! July 30 2012

How can one that cannot even THINK about exercising without getting cross-eyed and a bit queasy, not be attracted to an author that writes, and I quote, "get your running over with as fast as possible". And no treadmill involved! I feel the sparkle in my eye returning, but don't want to go all out and cheer quite yet!

Ok, so Day 1...stairs...good for my butt, ok that is cool...but 5 minutes? Ain't happenin'! Maybe 2 minutes at a shot. BUT, I can split it up throughout the day. That works for me. I see the 20 minute alternative, but that brings the "queasy" back. Not for me, thanks very much. I am on Day 6 and doing the 5 minutes just fine! I might add that my dogs do it with me, BUT they tire out, lie at the bottom of the stairs and gaze at me, undoubtedly thinking, "What is she nuts?"?

HITT Running....cool name, makes me feel like I am on my way to actually being a runner? Hmmmm...Day 5 and I am increasing my ability to stagger the runs and walks more efficiently...not sure about the deep breathing quite yet, breathing to catch my breath, yes, I got that, but I might have to care a brown paper bag with me to avoid hyperventilating!!

Started doing the Tabata Protocol (running in place) 2 days ago and as the author says, you can do it during TV commercials. What better time to start than during the Olympics! I have found that doing this same protocol on my, normally dust collecting, Elliptical is great.

I have lost 3 pounds in 5 days, so it is certainly working. Yeah, yeah, I am trying to eat healthier too, but I can feel that EPOC every day and it is rather stimulating! What is EPOC you ask? Feel the burn baby!

Give J. Jolan's book a shot, what have you got to lose? [If you are like me, 25+ pounds would do!]

4.0 out of 5 stars Short, Direct, Doable Aug. 1 2012

I found this book by accident one day when I was looking for some inspiration to help with my weight loss goals. I now have Morton's Neuroma in my right foot so for me running definitely sucks since there is lots of pain involved. I confess I bought the book just because the title seemed to speak to me personally. Anyway, there was nothing in this e-book that was completely new to me, but Jennifer's delivery just got me thinking and seeing things in a new way. I could picture her jumping up during TV commercials to get in some quick exercise. It made me realize that I have more time that I think I have and that I could get a very nice workout at home in a little more time it used to take me to drive to the gym. I can't say the weight is flying off but I can feel my fitness level improving--no more huffing and puffing, heart pounding when I get to the top of the stairs. I felt a little silly the first time I did the 5 minute workout she recommends, but my heart rate increased and I really worked up a sweat. It felt invigorating and gave me a happy glow for the rest of the day because it was quick and I started the day doing something proactive to advance my goal of losing weight. As others have noted, this book is not really a book but more of a pamphlet. Given the fact that it got me up and moving I feel like I absolutely got my money's worth. I subsequently download another of Jennifer's e-books based on this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Running does suck. But not Jennifer's way!!!!! March 11 2013

Jen, keep writing. You have a gift. I used to run because I thought I had to not because I enjoyed it. This book has made it a lot less guilt free to get your "run" in without the excuses of weather, time, etc. Thank you!

I'm going to try the interval training on my exercise bike first...I remember that worked for me when I was on Jenny Craig before. And I bought cinnamon powder in a capsule....soon won't have to taste it!

Good luck to everyone!

The most effective plan for HIIT running is simply to run at between 80-90% of your top speed for 5-10 seconds. Then walk for however long it takes until you feel youre fully recovered to run at 80-90% for another 5-10 seconds. Keep repeating that for 15 minutes and then stop. "e;
